Sunday, 8th March 2020: The stage is set for an action-packed KCB Nyahururu Rally as action returns after 40 years. It will be hard to predict the outcome of the rally with 5 drivers deemed as favorite to rack up championship points in the tricky terrains on Laikipia County.
Carl Flash Tundo and Baldev Chagger will plot the downfall of rivals Onkar Rai, and Tejveer Rai and Karan Patel, who will be powering the powerful VW polo’s and Ford Fiesta respectively.
Laikipia County Governor Ndiritu Muriithi is delighted with the return of the rally to Nyahururu terming it a key economic driver for the region.
“We thank KCB for their huge sponsorship in Motorsport that has profound effects on the local economy,” said Ndiritu.
KCB Bank Kenya Great Rift Region Portfolio Manager Mathews Kiveu lauded the crews for their spirited commitment to rallying adding that the bank will support them.

Other top drivers in contention for top honors include Erick Bengi navigated by Patrick Mutuma in an Evo X, KCB Group Director Customer Experience Mr. Job Njiru who is navigating Issa Amwari and Jamseet Chana.
There will be rally action at the Ol Maisor spectator viewpoint from 8 am-2 pm. Drivers will traverse the vast Laikipia County covering 306.28 Kms ahead of the Prize giving ceremony at 4 PM.
